We created the PM Newsletter after realizing how difficult it is for the technology and financial communities to evaluate statements about patents or patent-based business models. Typically, a press release might mention the issuance of a broad U.S. patent, an intention to extract royalties from a market, or a company’s renewed focus on patent licensing.

Currently, the technology and financial communities do not have a cost-effective, efficient way of understanding the impact of such claims. By tracking patent-specific representations of companies and evaluating the accuracy and credibility of those statements, we hope to bring greater clarity to business strategy and investment decisions.
